Droppinlikearack Obama

Consider this a victory: No matter what color or ethnicity they are, Americans don't favor racists or people who hang out with them.
New Gallup Poll (story here):
The March 14-18 national survey of 1,209 Democratic and Democratic-leaning voters gave Clinton, a New York senator, a 49 percent to 42 percent edge over Obama, an Illinois senator. The poll has an error margin of 3 percentage points.

    The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows John McCain’s lead growing against both potential Democratic opponents. McCain currently leads Barack Obama 49% to 42% and Hillary Clinton 51% to 41% margin (see recent daily results). African-American support for Clinton has collapsed, falling to 55% in the general election match-up. Obama, on the other hand, earns solid support from African-American voters but attracts only 36% of white voters in a match-up with McCain.

    Here is a bit more copy and paste for you.

    I can no more disown him than I can my white grandmother -- a woman who helped raise me, a woman who sacrificed again and again for me, a woman who loves me as much as she loves anything in this world, but a woman who once confessed her fear of black men who passed by her on the street, and who on more than one occasion has uttered racial or ethnic stereotypes that made me cringe.

    And then, there is also,

    But she is a typical white person, who, if she sees somebody on the street that she doesn’t know, you know, there’s a reaction that’s been bred in our experiences that don’t go away and that sometimes come out in the wrong way, and that’s just the nature of race in our society.

    Imagine the outcry if someone said his father was a "Typical Black person" who just got a woman pregnant and left her?

    That would rightfully be considered racist. So, why isn't stereotyping of white's also racist?

    Seems to me that his grandmother raised a woman, his mother, who freely accepted Blacks and didn't cower from them. Seems to me his "typical White person" grandmother accepted a Black child and treated him well. Many used to either abandon a half Black baby or give them up for adoption.

    Racist is as racist does.

  7. As "A Typical White Person" (Barack Obama's Words not mine)
    I sure Hope Barack(lets throw my Grandmother under the Bus)Obama
    never lowers himself down to using a Clearly Racist term as
    "YOU PEOPLE" (Ross Perots words not mine in 1992). I would hate to see his Campaign drop any faster then it is.

  8. Since the DEMOCRATS are the group being polled, and clearly reject the racists in their own DEMOCRAT party, that leaves the trolls, here, embracing racism. Why are the trolls complaining to this blog? If you like racism so much, go whine to your partners in socialism.
