  1. If anyone had any doubts about the purpose of the center, look who's doing the advertising for it. A "workers' rights" project that has a section devoted to ICE raids. There's only one kind of worker that needs to be concerned about ICE and that's one that is hired (and here) illegally. Case closed.

  2. Why is it not surprising that the ICE folks were not on scene to gather up the illegals there? And why are they not arresting Tommy and the Toadies for aiding and abetting illegal activity?

Maybe Tommy and the Toadies are thinking they are immune from any criminal liability in all this. I'm sure Randy Leonard sure is, after his remarks about a Police commander being "insubordinate" for expressing an opinion about the Council.

Randy seems to have the Royce Pollard view of things. "My way or the highway."

  4. Victoria: Thats a great idea that you just said on the radio that people should follow these illegals to the job site get the employers name
and then go after both. ICE are you Listening.

PS: A whole family of Illegals showed up where I work today looking for employment. Illegals are getting around the I-9 forms
and some employers are helping them. Jail time, fines, loss of a Business license should be the punishment.

  7. It seems to me that all the legitimate employment companies in and around the Portland area should get themselves together in a class action lawsuit against the City of Portland, the City Council, aka Tommy and the Toadies, the State of Oregon, and Teddy the Useless for unfair competition, and operating an unlicensed business designed to aid and abet the criminal illegal aliens in the area.

Such action might get the attention of Tommy and the Toadies and Teddy the Useless.

    Or not.

  8. I think they should build a nicer fence around the property, it is an eye sore.
Maybe they can hire the folks showing up for work.
