Why does it seem that alot of these tainted foods and products (some of them tainted dangerously) seems to come from other countries? Yeah, some possibly mad-cow-infected US beef mighta gotten places but mad-cow tainted beef isn't a sure cause of the human version of the illness. Salmonella is a sure cause of salmonella and lead is a sure cause of illness which makes it seem like better screening of imports would be highly advantageous.
