Obama: Did You Know The Bomb Fell on Pearl Harbor?

From B-Ho from what sounds like a WRITTEN SPEECH! Shout out to Bucks Right.

But it is wonderful to be back in Indiana. In a few moments, we’ll open up the discussion. But I want to offer a few comments about some of the emerging threats that we face in the 21st century and offer some ideas about how we can face those threats.

Throughout our history, America’s confronted constantly evolving danger, from the oppression of an empire, to the lawlessness of the frontier, from the bomb that fell on Pearl Harbor, to the threat of nuclear annihilation. Americans have adapted to the threats posed by an ever-changing world.

Gee, this reminds me...

And late night comedy shows can't find anything to riff on about Obama?

Did you catch the recent one in which the Messiah read the stage directions during his speech off the telepromptr?

It Wouldn't surprise me that Barack Hussein Osama Obama just Learned about "PEARL HARBOR" YESTERDAY, and I bet he has Forgotten entirely September 11th 2001. Thats the leftist mentality. Besides REMEMBER THERE'S 57 STATES in the USA according to Barack Hussein Osama Obama.

  3. "Whoa! OBAMA FORGOT AN "S"!!!! Stop the presses right now! WE NEED TO GET THIS STORY OUT!!!.
It's not like John McCain would ever forget an "S." Or that Czechoslovakia only exists in history books . . . wait . . . maybe we don't mention that last part." Good luck with this one guys.

Oh, and Jack (formerly klatu) we remember very well who was president on 9-11-01 and what he did and did not do preceding that event. We shall never forget.

  4. Sure. Barack Obama, obviously a knowledgeable, educated, intelligent person, mispeaks slightly and suddenly it's proof that he's stupid and out-of-touch and probably a stupid unAmerican Muslim Communist anyway.

This is precisely what is wrong with American politics. And precisely why Americans -- and Victoria -- get the idiots in public office we currently have -- because you insist on acting like this is still 3rd grade.

  6. I would like to see a video of this....if there isn't one, then it probably didn't happen. If there is one, I will watch and make my own opinions. It is the political season, I don't want to be a kool-aid drinker.

So somebody post a link, please.

  7. Actually Victoria, Iago... the singular could be just as correct as the plural. The most significant disaster during the Pearl Habor attack was a single armor-piercing bomb hitting the ammo magazine on the USS Arizona. The nearly 2000 men that died from just that one bomb almost constituted the entire loss of life for the entire attack. One could therefore reasonably argue that a bomb that fell on Pearl Harbor was proportionally more damaging than the nuclear weapons that fell on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Combined, the death toll from those two nuclear weapons was not even half of the home-island Japanese that died from American bomber attacks; in Pearl Harbor, that one bomb constituted almost the entire death toll. It's a rather convoluted way of looking at it but I'm simply pointing out that there is a reasonable possibility that Obama's comment wasn't ignorant or stupid.

  8. Considering that there is no longer a nation called Czechoslovakia (just as the Lone Star Republic and Prussia are no longer nations), it's fair to argue that it only exists in a history book.

As to the entire pre-9/11 argument, it's absurd. The chances of any administration, even the most liberal and "brillaint", putting the neccessary policies in place to stop September 11 are extremely tiny considering the situation that the Clinton Administration handed off. In contrast, there is little to no chance that FDR wasn't aware that cutting off critical supplies to Japan's war machine would result in an attempt to seize those resources by other means. The situations cannot be seriously compared.
