Of even greater concern should be his call for a "civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded as the Military," on July 2 this year, and how those words are being scrubbed away by the media.
Even the full length video of that speech on You Tube has been removed.
Since these words weren't in the prepared speech handed out to the media prior to the July 2, 2008 speech and Obama isn't stumbing as he normally does when making his gaffes, it may have been rehearsed earlier, but removed from the speech, although they forgot to tell Obama.
As scary as it is advocating a "civilian national security force," the "cleansing" of these words by the media is even scarier.
Civilian national security forces have been tried before. It was called the Sturmabteilung.
And it was McCain who owns the first big gaffe of the trip -- appearing to confuse Iraq and Afghanistan.
Asked by ABC's Diane Sawyer Monday morning whether the "the situation in Afghanistan in precarious and urgent," McCain responded:
"I think it's serious. . . . It's a serious situation, but there's a lot of things we need to do. We have a lot of work to do and I'm afraid it's a very hard struggle, particularly given the situation on the Iraq/Pakistan border," said McCain, R-Ariz., said on "Good Morning America
It should be clear that McCain mental capacities have become unreliable and dangerous... he cannot keep things straight, yet maintains he is an expert... .. perhaps he is in the every changing fantasy geography and sectarian identification he conjures up and discusses, but in the world the rest of us live in he fails the simple test of what countries exist today, what countries have common borders, who are the players, so to speak, and where do they live.... if this were a Jr. HS test he would fail badly... there is a reason he was in the bottom 1% of his class.... and that may have been a gift to his Daddy.
