From a New York Times article, some insight into Obama's "pep talk" given in private to Democrats in regards to the healthcare debacle bankrupting our country,
According to Representative Earl Blumenauer of Oregon, “Does anybody think that the teabag, anti-government people are going to support them if they bring down health care? All it will do is confuse and dispirit” Democratic voters “and it will encourage the extremists.”
Representative Martin Heinrich of New Mexico, “If you want to see a recipe for failure, don’t do the things you talked about in your campaigns and turn your back on your base. All the independent voters in the world don’t matter if the Democrats don’t turn out.”
Any Independent, conservative or who doesn't blindly follow the progressive agenda are unimportant to this joker who didn't even take the time to console victims in Ft. Hood Texas, as did former President George W. Bush and his wife Laura.

Representative Earl Blumenauer is not representative of the people he supposedly represents. I hope that this bites him and his ilk in the collective rear ends when their terms come up. I wonder what they will say to their constituents? Or will they phone it in so they don't have to face us?
The government can't run Medicare and Medicaid properly. Both are FULL of fraud and waste. These are indisputable facts!
Will they do any better "overseeing" the entire system?
How can they? Pure logic and reasoning would suggest they can't.
Why is this so hard for people to understand? Really, I want to know.
Even better is all the talk about how Progressives/Liberals are open-minded, tolerant, and inclusive. Please explain how trying to silence alternate views and demonizing those who disagree (especially those with facts) are ANY of those things.
Could one of our Progressive/Liberal friends please explain this paradox for me?
Take the emotion out of it and just THINK.
