What isn't shown in the picture is a small sign on the door that reads:
Please vacate the premises NLTN Jan. 31 2012 so new owners can take occupancy! By Court Order or you will be removed forcibly!
Don't worry though, Turbo-Tax Timmy and Heli-Ben are already jockeying for positions in The People's Republic of China Finance Ministry. They'll be fiiiiine.
This is all very scary about the fact that China and other hostile nations own our debts. Especially with our leader bowing to their leader offering more. To try and do something about this growing problem, we should be working on a separate business in which is focused on this problem. If nothing is done, it is only one more thing we will be passing on to future generations.
Doug Powers ( Michelle Malkin's co-blogger ) featured that yesterday and I laughed my azz off!
Hey! Be careful not to put a 'scratch' in my stealth fighter there valet! I mean, what can you do but laugh?
Coffeetrader,
Pete could explain it better than I could but suffice to say our options are becoming more and more limited. ZIRP ( Zero Int. Rate Policy ) is (1) option, but not very pleasant. It basically involves -stiffing- our creditors.
They're none too happy w/ us ( their debtors ) right now and it doesn't take a lot of creativity to imagine that is precisely what is behind this little 'visit'?
To be fair, had it been McCain we'd be rolling out the red carpet as well ( just not as 'much' of it! ) Hey, votes cost $$$'s! Right?
