Victoria:
I've been listening on and off to the program today and I
diagree with your polling question.
At this point it isn't about ideology, being conservative
enough, being pro-Tea Party, etc. it is about defeating the Democrats. The Big money Republicans have to get off
their collective asses and decide to spend their money on their candidates
choice no matter who he is. Get rid of
the Democrat and then we can have primary's to fight over purity, etc. But if I understood you today Rob didn't get
the money he needed because he wasn't the right choice. Pathetic. I gave Rob $100.00 and now I find out that
apparently those people "in the know" didn't commit. Makes me angry. Makes you wonder if the "Big Money"
Republicans in this state are afraid to offend anybody. Makes you wonder if they don't want a
Republican to win.

Holy Cow! There is the problem with our election system! Your e-mailer sadly doesn't see the big picture! Since when are we living in a Country where money should determine who wins elections?
ReplyDeleteVern,
ReplyDelete"Since when are we living in a Country where money should determine who wins elections?"
Certainly since 2008 when Wall Street gave three times more money to Obama than to John McCain.
And Vern since you like a source for the information, try "Bought and Paid For", Charles Gasparino, Sentinel/Penguin Publishing, 2010, page ix.
But then I guess it isn't hard to discern that there is nothing behind Obama other than money and mobile teleprompters.
It is the chicken and the egg problem. We cannot get a Republican elected until we spend money but we cannot get the money unless we get a Republican that has a chance to be elected less it good money to the bad. The problem I see we are not making do with little we have. Obama and George Soros’ Bus project demonstrates we can do less with expensive TV adds; we need people on the street and home including apartment and condominium complexes and not just manning phone banks.
