When it comes to Occupy Wall Street and its dwindling band of franchisees, I love it when a plan comes together.
A just released SurveyUSA poll of San Francisco-area adults taken on January 30 shows support for Occupy sinking like a manhole cover in a lake after this past weekend’s rioting in Oakland. Not only have Mayor Jean Quan and the San Francisco Chronicle abandoned Occupy Oakland and the cause, but it looks the public joins them.
Again, this is a poll of SAN FRANCISCO adults – left-wingers, Pelosi voters, socialists and all-around moonbeam worshippers – who now express profound distaste for Occupy and its tactics.
The kicker is how one-third of them want the police to crack down even harder on Occupy – think Pelosi with a can of pepper spray. Thirty-five percent think the police response is about right. That’s a better-than-landslide 68 percent of respondents who support the police over the protesters who claim to have massive public support and God on their side. They lie.
Looks like the dwindling number of Occupy supporters can be described thusly:
