Animal "Rights" Terrorists Target California Businesswoman. Why This Should Be Important to Oregonians.

Terrorists from the animal "rights" movement admit targeting the home of the Vice President of a Yorba Linda, California company for selling lab equipment to researchers. They threw red paint all over her home and in the pool in her back yard--and threatened more damage.

The "Animal Liberation Front" admitted (via news release) the responsibility for vandalizing the home of Allison Blackwell, the Senior Vice President of a company called Beckman Coulter, a supposed supplier to Huntington Life Sciences.

Portland ALF Organizing Meeting

[H]er driveway, front door, porch and garage door were redecorated in red spray paint. The slogans "DROP HLS" and "PUPPY KILLER" was painted across her garage door. Red stain was thrown into her pool in the backyard turning the water and walls of the pool blood red, to remind her of the blood on her hands.

The news release also contained the executive's address, so she should expect a boat load of hate mail and visits from other misguided souls from around the world. Indeed, the release contained an overt threat to Ms. Blackwell:

Allison, you know what to do to bring this to an end. Cut your losses and drop HLS. Until then expect to spend thousands more on damages because this is not a one time event. As it reads across your drive way in red spray paint "THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING"   --ALF

HLS stands for Huntington Life Sciences, an outfit out of the UK which has been battling animal "rights" activists for more than a decade now for using animals for research. They have an outpost in New Jersey. 

At Occupy Portland

Oregon is a hotbed for this kind of kookery. Terrorists have vandalized and picketed homes university researchers, threatened the lives of bankers with barely vestigial connection to HLS, burned down a mink farm, blown up trucks, put one Portland furrier out of business and have attacked another.

One activist tried to make himself a human torch to burn down a Portland fur business. He died in the attempt but not after trying to take several people with him. 

Federal authorities took nine long years to finally bust up and prosecute a nest of activists called The Family. Court documents showed the Earth and Animal Liberation Fronts were one and the same. And showed that Oregon terrorists had participated in the notorious Vail, Colorado ski resort torching.

However, even after that terrorism trial in Oregon, ALF and ELF left their marks at Occupy Portland in the fall of last year. 

The Obama Administration and local law enforcement took a hands off approach to Occupy Portland, allowing activists to routinely break the law. Anarchists, ALF and ELF were prominent at the downtown Portland encampment.
