The Portland State University College Republicans group has been quite busy lately and they've decided to make a fall splash with the announcement that Michelle Malkin is coming to speak on campus.Here's what they told me:
Malkin is an author, commentator, columnist, former editorial writer in Seattle, new media magnate.Michelle Malkin ... will be here Nov 2nd at 7:30 in Smith Memorial Student Union, Room 327/8/9. It is free for PSU students (with ID) and $5 for community members but with every can of food they bring, they get a dollar off.
Would be far more entertaining if she spoke after the election. However, she will probably be in hiding then.

Nobody is making you go or listen....so why not volunteer for the Multnomah County Food Corps so you screen kids' lunches and express your fascism in a politically acceptable manner. I'm sure you could find a kindred spirit in Michelle Neuman at the cafeteria check point.
In case you were too busy worrying about the threat of Michelle's Malkin to read the saturday Oregonian's headline, you might pay attention to the projected 45% increase in the PERS contributions rate for 2013. Good thing the President lowered your health care costs by $2,800.00 so you can afford to kick in your fair share. More money for public employees and less services to citizens and those who need them, sounds like social justice to me.
