The City of Portland and NW Portland neighbors demand this sign and a Suzanne Gallagher for State Senate sign be removed from this yard. See my post here.
But the City of Portland and SW Portland neighbors (SW Westwood Dr above Capitol HWY) don't demand the removal of this sign. Double standard. Every time. Diversity of thought? Bull. Tolerance? Tosh!

I live in Wash State and have a condo in NE Portland and was target for having a Romney bumper sticker on my car. My neighbor harassed me for days with threatening notes then made a false insurance fraud allegation about my car door hitting hers, all the while my car was not there. When I told her she was mistaken, she she then complained about my service dog. Talk about non tolerant city. It is as if those who HAVE use their own property or their own parking spot you are harassed. It reminds me of the occupy people who claim if a house is vacant they should use it. Radicals in PDX.
ReplyDeleteHi Victoria,
ReplyDeleteRemember, the system is complaint driven...put their office on speed dial. : )
The city enforces sign code without respect to contents, therefore, they claim, they are content neutral.
ReplyDeleteBUT, the complainer is NOT content neutral, making the whole process subject to the content, in violation of the first amendment.
Thanks
JK
Absolutely right, Jim.
