GUILTY VERDICT IN MOHAMUD TRIAL
We got word at 2:40 that a verdict would be read at 3pm. By 3:07 the verdict was read. Guilty. Sentencing is set for May.
Steven Wax told me they would appeal the decision. Failing that the defense is also hoping for leniency in sentencing. Prosecutors did not foreclose that possibility but said they'd wait to find out what the defense asks before hazarding an opinion.
